The outdoor space of EKA is divided into a semi-private courtyard and public areas along Kotzebue and Põhja pst. Distinctive paving highlights entrances and key locations, while the minimalist design offers seating and bike parking. The main entrance square serves as the primary meeting point and has a visual connection to the park across the street. The courtyard, divided by a staircase gallery, is a shaded outdoor room for studying, relaxing, and hosting workshops. Climbing plants in the shaded courtyard reach for light. The small square along Kotzebue Street is ideal for displaying student works and expanding the caf© or hosting outdoor events in summer.
