The new park carries the spirit of the factory, putting present-day needs first. The old factory as well as the empty years inbetween have survived in many details.

The factory yard is car-free during the day and features semi-public terraces for caf©s and shops alongside public spaces with a playground, stage, and greenhouse. Movable fixtures allow flexibility for events and transport. The central asphalt zone is surrounded by grass and rocks. While preserved and newly planted natural vegetation adds life and softens the fresh surfaces. Rainwater-collecting depressions in the asphalt serve as playful spots for children and water sources for animals, enriching the yard’s wild and vibrant atmosphere.
