The design language of the beach is a hybrid of the sharp design of the neighboring Lodjakoda building and their counterpart–the circle. The combination creates a location marker familiar from maps, essentially saying: “You are here!” The beach is divided into various cozy niches, each featuring seating and sunbathing platforms as well as play equipment. This dispersed approach creates areas that are equal in activity volume but different in character. The volleyball court and sports equipment are located separately. The sports equipment is grouped into training pockets and designed for different target groups: gymnastic equipment (calisthenics), an outdoor gym, and specific equipment for seniors.
