An interim park created to provide valuable recreational space for the community. Utilizing existing landscape features and reusable materials while construction in the area is on hold.

The purpose of the interim park is to provide temporary public space, addressing the needs of the Uus-Veerenni community during ongoing developments. The park’s concept is based on maximizing the use of existing spatial features. The former warehouse’s concrete surface was transformed into an active area with ball courts and shelters. Landscape elements such as bridges, stands, and bike track features were created from leftover materials. The preserved natural vegetation is self-seeded and wild, while landscaping planted in repurposed containers is movable and can be reused at a new location, along with all newly added elements.
