The courtyard of the residential area is clearly divided into private, semi-private and public space, which creates a sense of home for the residents and offers an opportunity for passers-by to be part of it by getting a fleeting glimpse. There are private gardens lining the street in front of the buildings, which delight the eye and add a touch of green to the street.

The inner courtyard of the residential block is a semi-private pocket park for the daily use of local residents. It serves as a logical transition from the gardens of nearby private houses, offering greater density and diversity. The courtyard is accessible from both the street via sidewalks and the buildings. From the street, a view of lush greenery opens up. A drainage channel along the sidewalk directs rainwater to a permeation area. Private gardens in front of the terraces are separated from the shared yard by hedges. An active play area and a quieter garden corner with fruit trees are connected by a bridge made of metal mesh. The courtyard provides spaces for both solitude and togetherness.
